What follows is a review of some major IE8 problems.
1. IE8 was one of the first browsers to employ a private browsing mode (InPrivate). Firefox and Chrome later followed their lead. Safari had a private browsing mode but did not (and still does not) have a feature on par with InPrivate Filtering.

It's important that we take a look at Adblock Plus for Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer 8's DEFAULT Privacy settings are set to "Medium" which:
Blocks third party cookies that do not have a compact privacy policy and it
Blocks third-party cookies that save information that can be used to contact you without your explicit consent and it
Restricts first-party cookies that save information that can be used to contact you without your implicit consent
